Minimum Connecting Times (MCT)Domestic-International 45 mins In pig inefficient Dublin airport, the flight connections centre has been removed and it is now necessary to exit through the baggage hall (even if you have a boarding pass for another flight) and go through the departures security rigmarole. If you need to connect, use Paris CDG or Amsterdam rather than Dublin. If you must connect at DUB, allow 2 hours and ignore the theoretical MCTs or be prepared to miss your connection.
Airport BanksThere is a bank and several currency exchange shops at Dublin Airport. In our experience, the bank offers substantially better exchange rates than the currency exchange shops (who according to some reports have on occasion charged margins of 13% on USD conversions)! Bank of Ireland currency exchange is available on the departures level 06-20.00 seven days a week. ATMs are available 24/24h which accept Cirrus, Eurocard, Eurocheque, Laser, Maestro, MasterCard, Plus, and Visa cards, and dispense cash in Euros, US dollar and GBPs.
