Time bucket offerings

These services provide the subscriber with buckets of internet access time (eg 40, 80, or 120 hours per month) for a fixed monthly fee - not dissimilar to the calling tariffs imposed by certain mobile phone companies in countries with state controlled mobile network monopolies, or ex-state controlled monopolies that are permitted to continue as if nothing had changed!  They have been misleadingly been described in Ireland as "flat rate" in some quarters.
